A story about
daring to dream.

Once upon a time...

In 1956, Frans Hendrickx started out small in Wiekevorst by carrying out earthworks with a single tipping trailer he bought from the army.

From 1960, he started doing international transport and, in a short timeframe, through a takeover, obtained transport permits for full loads to Germany, France and Italy. Soon the first semitrailers were bought to compensate for a reduction in tipper transport.

In the early 1970s, land was purchased in Westerlo, and the first warehouse was opened in 1975 to store canned goods on behalf of customers during off-peak periods, pending delivery.

Gradually …

You never tire of doing what you love! ’ (Frans Hendrickx)

To meet the requirements of a growing company, a site with office buildings was purchased close to the warehouses in the Hulshout industrial area.

Today, all our activities are still controlled from that location, while the fleet is also maintained in our own workshop.

In the early 1990s, a new takeover resulted in additional investments in temperature-controlled transport and plant transport.

The trust we have built up with our customers is the result of years of working together, thinking long term together, and putting customers as well as employees first at every decision being made in the company. As a result, we can count on long-term relationships, leading to better understanding and help for our customers.

Investing in the future.

As a transport and logistics company, we have a role to play in society. This is why we have invested in solar panels on our warehouse roofs, as well as a rainwater recovery system in collaboration with other local companies who reuse water from our warehouses in their business processes, LNG-powered vehicles, and special energy-saving lighting in our warehouses. This is how we are taking responsibility for the future.
